An electric sauna heater runs on its own dedicated circuit, sized by a licensed electrician to match the heater rating and wired to your local electrical code. Do not run a sauna heater off a general-purpose outlet or share its circuit with anything else. The heater manual and rating plate give the exact requirement for your model, and a licensed electrician sizes the wire and breaker from that.
A sauna heater draws a steady, heavy load for a long stretch of time. That is more than a normal household outlet is meant for. It gets its own dedicated circuit so it is supplied safely and is not competing with other loads in the house.
The electrical hookup is a job for a licensed electrician. They read the heater rating, size the wire and the breaker correctly for it, and wire everything to your local code. In Ontario that means the Ontario Electrical Safety Code. Getting this right is both a safety matter and what keeps your heater warranty valid.
We do not publish a one-size breaker number here on purpose, because the correct wire and breaker depend on your specific heater and installation, and only your electrician should size them. Follow the manual and the electrician, not a generic figure from the internet.
